CLOTH DIAPER SET by (Organic Caboose)
Using cloth diapers have always been something I wanted to try, but I was afraid to. People always told me how messy and inconvenient they were, but that was not the case in my first experience trying these!
Organic Caboose diapers are made in the USA with organic cotton. They are a great eco-friendly choice. They are so soft and do not irritate my son's sensitive skin. There are snaps in the front so I can adjust it to fit him perfectly. The inserts work great and you can even re-use the diaper again and just change the insert in some instances.
They wick away moisture and keep baby's skin nice and dry. The cover that fits over the diaper is leakproof and does not create crease marks on my son's legs. Washing and drying them is easy as well.
The only challenge I found was that they are a bit bulkier in comparison to disposable diapers, but I do not find this to be a major problem. Additionally, you can't really tell if it's time to change the diaper unless you actually open it up to see.
Eventhough in the long run they turn out to be cheaper than disposables (not to mention the fact that you get to keep the cloth diapers and they don't end up in landfills!) definitely a consideration would be the cost up front to buy a supply of these diapers. For example, the one I tried is currently on sale for $15.99 so if you want to buy 7-10 at the same time to have a supply, that may be too much for some families. But you just have to remember that your average box of brand diapers can be between $30-40 for large packages. Certainly, an additional advantage is that you would not have to worry about running out late at night because you ran out of diapers!
