NEW NATIVE BABY FOOTED BLANKET (By New Native, Inc.)
Another practical product from New Native. This soft, 100% organic cotton footed blanket is really comfortable and cozy for the baby. My little one enjoys being wrapped in it during feeding and nap times. Placing her little legs in the footed area makes her feel extra secure and I like the fact that it keeps her feet warm because her socks always come off. I always seem to lose a sock around the house.
I also tried using it inside the baby sling/carrier and it was great as an additional layer of warmth.
Something that made it practical for me, as I'm always on the go with my other two kids, is the fact that unlike a sleep sack-type blanket, this one keeps the legs separate so it's easy to fit the baby into the carseat and put the belts around the body. With the sack, I usually have to unzip the bottom part and pull her little legs out and that leaves her exposed so I usually end up throwing another blanket on top of her anyways but then I worry that she may pull it up towards her face and cover herself. So this is a great option.
It comes in different colors (dusty rose, natural, khaki, zebra print or light blue) and you can get it either in terry or fleece fabric. I tried the terry and was really impressed with the softness of it. You can confortably use it with a newborn up until I would say probably 7-8 months. After that, the baby may get too big for it. So it makes a perfect gift for a new mom.
