ORGANIC SOY & COTTON BIBS (by Pukies.com)
I really found the story behind these bibs delightful. A mom of two while shopping for a dress with her friends had a thought about the possibility of someone creating a line of baby bibs and active wear in colors that would camouflage with the stains the likes of sweet potatoes, peas, carrots, and apple sauce she was being stained with on a daily basis during meal times. And so Pukies was born.
Recently, I was able to try out one of their bibs (pea-colored with little diamonds design) with my eight month old at meal time and it was fun. She was having a mix of sweet potatoes and green peas and it was too funny. The little mess she had made on her chest looked really cute on her. At least I didn't feel like a nice, new white bib had been ruined/stained in a matter of minutes. I am no domestic diva, but unless you soak bibs as soon as they are stained, a residue always remains and they never look the same way again.
The Pukies are made of a fabric, "Soy Genius" which is a special blend of soy fiber and organic cotton. This makes them feel really soft, comfy, durable, antimicrobial and also have an ultraviolet protection factor. So if you're thinking of having more fun during meal time or want a unique baby shower gift for a friend or relative that's made of eco-friendly fabrics, check them out. The bibs come in gift boxes of 4 that retail for $34.
