SHAKLEE GREEN CLEANING PRODUCTS (through GreenIam.org)
Looking for safe, eco-friendly cleaning products that work is not always easy. Now that I have a little one it was a priority to me to have products that were non-toxic and safe for my child. I had tried the highly marketed brands “green” products, but after looking at the side of the bottle I wondered how safe they really were.
Next, I decided to give the Shaklee line of cleaning products a whirl. I tried the Basic H2® Organic Super Cleaning Concentrate as a glass, floor and surface cleaner. Depending on your needs you mix a very small amount of the solution with water and start scrubbing! This product got the job done, I can tell you, and without that strong, chemical smell! It was nice to have a clean house without the “bleachy”, overwhelming aroma that usually accompanied a dirt free home. For deep cleaning, you may need a more heavy-duty product, like the Scour Off Heavy Duty Paste, but the Cleaning Concentrate will work for your entire surface cleaning needs.
Another Shaklee product I LOVE is the liquid laundry detergent and Nature Bright Laundry Booster and Stain Remover. I have always used the traditional highly marketed brands stain removers. I would obsessively and aggressively spray a stain only to be dismayed that it remained there after washing. Not with this stuff. I had a few baby onesis I thought were ruined from my daughters first days in the world with the umbilical chord rubbing against it. I had washed these items several times and decided to keep them anyway when they came out still stained. I decided to try again with the laundry detergent and booster. I was pleasantly surprised to find the item STAIN-FREE!! Very impressive.
If you are looking for a clean, “green” way to clean your household and clothes try the Shaklee line of products out. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.
