Nancy Hamm, CNCS is the owner of Gentle Ventures a teaching entitiy for the education of Newborn Care Specialists. Gentle Ventures specializes in teaching all aspects of the newborn 0 - 12 weeks.
Nancy has been a Newborn Care Specialist for 18 years and has over 30,000 hours of hands-on experience with babies. She continues to work directly with newborns as a Certified Newborn Care Specialist. She owns Exclusively Baby Nurses, an agency, and The Baby Nurse Directory. Nancy founded the NCSA after it became clear there were no guidelines set for the certification of Newborn Care Specialists. She is a visionary in the field of newborn care, and through extensive research has become as expert on infant care.
On the personal side, Nancy is the mother of 3 boys and Huni (grandma) to 3 grandchildren. She has lived in Phoenix for 35 years and travels the U.S. for teaching and work.
